1. Who We Are

FuelLog ("the app", "we", "us") is a car cost tracking application available at fuellog-5t6.pages.dev and on the Google Play Store. FuelLog is operated as an independent application. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at Privacy Email.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Your location or GPS data
• Your fuel, oil change, or maintenance records
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs (except as described in Section 5)
• Usage analytics or behaviour tracking
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Any financial information

3. How Your Data Is Stored

All data you enter into FuelLog — including fuel fillups, oil changes, maintenance records, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server, including ours.

Because your data is stored locally on your device:

• Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your data
• Clearing your browser or app storage will permanently delete all your data
• Your data does not sync between devices
• We cannot recover your data for you if it is lost

We strongly recommend using the built-in Export CSV feature regularly to back up your data to a file on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal data with any third parties. There is no data for us to share — we do not have access to it.

5. Advertising

The free version of FuelLog displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads that are relevant to you based on your browsing behaviour across other websites and apps. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours.

Users who purchase a paid plan have ads removed and are not subject to ad-related data collection within FuelLog.

6. Children's Privacy

FuelLog is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

7. Security

Since FuelLog stores all data locally on your device and transmits nothing to external servers, the security of your data is primarily determined by the security of your device. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device's operating system up to date.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of FuelLog after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

If we ever make material changes that affect how your data is handled — for example, if we add cloud sync or user accounts — we will notify you prominently within the app before the changes take effect.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, most data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are exercised directly on your own device. You can:

• Export all your data at any time using the Export CSV button in the app
• Delete all your data at any time using the Delete All button in the app
• Uninstall the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data
